Hello all,
Social media today is flat out cliche. Twitter and Facebook are the sales consoles of the world...and I find myself joining the ranks of merchant out there. I just sent in my first tweet promoting the organic multi-purpose cleaner available on the e-store, LOC. There is nothing more irritating than being pummelled by advertising on end, but this is only temporary. I want to get back into the real phase of selling where you talk to people on the phone, visit in person, sign some papers and take the cash. Social media really is the new cliche - whate ever happened to being social? Regardless, I refuse to allow my name to be associated with mindless advertising. I just want to be sociable sometimes, ya know?
Although, I must admit I am excited that we have already done 100 in sales volume (crazy numbers) and need another 50 to hit this month's goal. That is going to be incredible. Next month we should FINALLY have the site cleaned up and everything working on a clean machine. Website ETA is Feb. 28th, so go ahead and put up the links because countdown has commenced! In the interim, I am sending people directly to the e-store to try and build some awareness and go ahead and hit my goal for this year. Sure, the check will be tiny but I feel like the momentum and the "I Can Do" is the part that is going to sell it.
Go forth entrepreneurs and prepare your nets to fish!
